The National Bank of Ukraine has determined new criteria for distinguishing of banks into groups for 2017. This is stated in the resolution of the regulator N76-рш dated February 10.
Within the framework of this classification PJSC «Bank Vostok» ranks 6th among 63 private banks.
According to the document, the following groups are provided:
- banks with state shares – banks in which the state directly or indirectly owns a share of more than 75% of the authorized capital of the bank;
- banks of foreign banking groups – banks, controlling stock interest of which are held by foreign banks or foreign financial and banking groups;
- banks with private capital – banks in which among the ultimate owners of significant participation is one or more private investors who directly and/or indirectly own not less than 50% of the authorized capital of the bank.
